Quarter Master HRB holes not matching

Hello!
Im attepting to install a Quarter master hydraulic TOB on my evo 7 rs, and the issue I found out is that the case of hrb has holes a bit larger off center of the threaded retainer holes on gearbox, and because of that i cannot fit the M6 bolts to threads.
Has anyone of you maybe been in the same situation? Is it okay to just drill out the holes for a bit larger hole to match it up? Or what else?
Thanks,

@mateshi

Can you post up a pic of the issue.

Dont think drilling out the holes is a good idea just yet!

I did some internet / forum searching & could not find anyone posting a mounting issue w/the QM HRB. Wonder if you have the correct HRB? (6 speed maybe?)

Reaming the mounting holes should not have to be done! These kinds of mis-fit issues are a real PITA

I would contact QM direct!

Hmm, yes thats PITA..
If I dont take wrong so the 6 speed version has only 3 bolt holes, not 4 as mine,

So yes, I have to contact QM fast as possible to find a solution for that, and I hope they are fast!

Does anyone maybe know how to correctly bleed this quartermaster bearing?
Thanks,

@mateshi Hey my friend, you've got the wrong HRB. Both 5speed and 6speed QM HRBs are 3 holed billet in anodized black. If you are using a 6speed box you will also need a spacer in order to fit the HRB on the 6speed input shaft as the shaft is thinner than the 5speed one, and the spacer makes up for the difference in shaft diameter. You can bleed the HRB, through the bleed nipple you will need to screw on the secondary short braided line. These parts should be included in the HRB package from QM, but you can also make your own. You need to contact QM, and let them know that they've sent you the wrong HRB. If you are running a 6-speed, you need to specify this to them also.
