Megan Racing downpipe, test pipe, cat back installed

did the whole thing last night and this morning. car sounds great, nice and deep. too loud for me though, i wish it was quieter. cel came on today on the way home from work, gonna have to look into that perrin harness. havent really got on it yet through the gears, just one half launch and a couple roll ons. i was surprised at the launch, wasnt really trying and it pulled like crazy, instead of bogging. kinda hurt my neck, wasnt ready for it

the bad:
-no hanger hardware
-no o2 housing gasket or bolts
-no bung for the rear o2 sensor in the test pipe or cat-back (had one welded in the factory location)

the good:
-quality -awesome welds and polished shine
-sound
-revs cleaner and more freely
-fits perfect
-25lbs lighter then stock

so if you are looking at this exhaust go ahead and pick up some 5/16" bolts/nuts/washers for the hangers, i think you will need 4 sets. also you will need 2 M10x1.25 bolts for the downpipe to o2 housing connection, cant remember the length but theres a pic below. i made a gasket out of a Mr. Gasket exhaust sheet from a local speed shop. and if your test pipe doesnt have an o2 bung, find out where you can have one welded in for you, and ask if they can weld stainless for you. i chose to have it put in the pipe after the cat, its about 11" back from the cat, thats the factory location. ill probly add more pics, and maybe a vid later.

the gasket i made, the stock o2 housing bolt, and one i bought for the new dp:

There shouldn't be any problems with this cat-back system.

Nice pics... but how does it sound outside of the car? Us old people prefer less blat, and more quiet growl...

Thanks, I'd like to hear a video under mid and full throttle...

Hmmm, that's (in blue) probably a good indicator that it is too loud for us old ****s... I

Any rattle issues from the downpipe? My Megan Racing downpipe rattles when I start in 1st gear. It sucks gotta fix it. Did you use a gasket where your downpipe connects to your motor. The stock downpipe has a totally different type of gasket.
