juns the best my friend

and lol now i can afford jun but that time i got too many things

i had 3 turbos at one time including greddy 25g and gt3240 and silly stuff i bought from everywhere, when i go crazy i do go crazy

mate idle not a problem with autronics, mark maps my car and its awesome and sorted , i was told in the beginning from sam they may coz probs but simon knows what he is doing been using jun since he was a kid and recommended them to me ( that time for a 2 litre not 2.3)

it was fully spooled up before 4000 revs , mark was mapping it with simon and he told me himself its an animal it was so smooth but aggresive aint seen nothing like it, i missed it, i was in scotland working.

i wish i could have found another housing for it gt3240 made hardly any lag.

spooled up quicker than alot of standard evos

i bought simons one the one he did a 10.89 quarter on standard gearbox and won God of the pod event with nearly full weight

Go with the 35R kit all the way. I also highly suggest our equal length manifold at this point. With our 2.4 liter motor it makes the turbo virtually lagless.

The manifold is $1195 and comes with a lifetime warranty. Fastest EVO 8.

Weaksauce. How about a HKS T51R BB against a GT35R. You'll hit full spool by 10,000 rpm.

I don't think any turbo beats the money's worth for the GT35R at the moment. HKS has a dealer only option GT3540 but its exactly the same as the GT35R. I had an opportunity to compare both over at a dealers place last year. MY drag Evo 3 runs a standard GT35R on a 2 litre bottom end spinning to 9300 rpm!! The best quarter mile time I've ran is a 10.41 @ 143 mph with this thing on a standard gearbox and street radials. Its already 3 years in the running and I haven't found a decent replacement especially since I'm still on a 2 litre. However, GCG turbos in Australia has a 66mm wheel compressor upgrade that works fine to give another 10ib of compressor flow. Am waiting on that to see if I can push more power out of this thing. On 34 psi it makes 635 WHP on a AWD dynojet...

On my 2.3 stroker evo 6, am running a Greddy T67 turbokit, the turbo hits full boost by 4100 rpm and pulls all the way to 7300 rpm. Its a great street/track turbo for a non ball bearing turbo but suffers from choke especially on a 8cm turbine housing. Max power achived at 30 psi ( choking) is 498 WHP.
Had an opportunity to compare against a similar stroker setup on an Evo 7 using a GT35R, the full boost rpm on this particular car was 500 rpm later at 4600 rpm, still pretty decent for a Garett with a bigger turbine housing...
Its a matter of getting the right turbo for the right application.... if you'd ask me I would say all of them works great...

600 awhp or less a 3040 is gonna be your best bet, anything higher than that and the 35R or 40R are you best bet, the only problem is 35R and 40R's are a pain to get ahold of.(although we should be getting some at the end of the month)
