bump. my goal was to spike to around 1.4 bar and holding around 1.3...but it's just not doing it. 1.6 and 1.5 is too high.

Some mods will cause your boost to spike, such as a turbo-back exhaust. A manual boost controller can only control boost to a certain point. Example: if your car spikes to 20-21 psi before controller was installed it can only be used to go from that point on up. An EBC can be used to actually lower the boost to the desired level and hold it versus a manual which only goes as low as your highest spike and hold it steady. Hope this helps.

I don't know where you got that information from but it is wrong. A boost cntroller is a boost controller whether it is electronic or manual it performs the same functon.

My guess is that you may have gotten a faulty one. Contact Buschur I'm sure they will help you out.

I think what he is saying is the manual boost controller will only hold one point and then things can flucuate. with the electronic boost controller is can accually adjust up and down to maintain your boost more constant. read around alot better control is seen with the HKS EVC than any MBC. IMO

is the ball suppose to come loose when you shake the boost controller? because I shook it and the ball won't come loose. I even took the spring out and it spike to 1.6 bar. I guess I'm going to have to call buschur.

1.6 is 23.20 psi
the ball is supposed to shake inside the controller when its backed off al the way
i was gonna say maybe you have a torn vaccume line ro something but its prolly rhe controller
the stock wastegate acuator goes off around 11 psi so if it was backed off it should go much higher then like 13 psi
