And this is what I describe. You are adjusting the freeplay. I don't know if it will actually change the engagement point.

Just try it, and then PM me with the results. That's all I can say.

Ever notice a Popping out of first gear... this happens to me sometimes,, and i swear im shifting well... Would then loosening it (turning the pin to the right) allow me to have a better disengagement? The problem is.. mine already feels like it barely engages when let out as well. POS.. i need a new clutch grr mitsu...

What is the "short clutch rod modification"?

I tried adjusting my clutch pedal to engage closer off the floor and it only made my car shift like crap, very notchy. Leaving the catching point near the top of the clutch pedal travel seems to make my car shift the smoothest.

I would definitely give the adjustment a try, does your clutch slip on the highway when you nail it, let's say, while in 5th gear starting around 3000rpm? That's when you know things are on your way out, at least that was the sign for me.

Yeah it slips in every gear. But it happped all at once. I thought that when a clutch starts slipping is slowley happens. Not wham slipping in every gear.

Adjustment won't help. It's toast. On an EVO the stock pressure plate has a stop built into it so all of a sudden the clutch starts slipping when the disc wears to certain point. There is no getting it back from there, except by replacement.
