Forum Administrator Abuse!?

Take a look at a little PM I got from an admin. It seems that if you tell him his suggestion is retarded he deletes your thread. What is up with this ingrate? If you followed the thread it went on for days past when I posted a reply to his small brained suggestion and yet he decides to delete it days later? bored I guess, what an ***. Hey guy if you want to ban me go ahead. I could careless... I come here to read about Evo's not to kiss up to your ***. If you make a stupid comment, you bet I will post a reply to it in my own thread jackass. Why don't you read a little yourself before posting about something you have no clue about and expect people to kiss up to you just because you are "admin". Ohhh you scare me so with your bans and power trip. I swear you can't go anywhere without running into a power hungry little kiddy.

SecretChimp posted:

I promised in your thread that if you continued to have a bad attitude, I would delete the thread. As a result of your kurt reply to my suggestion, I deleted the thread.

If you continue with this attitude, I will be forced to warn/ban.

This includes your reply to my pm...

Well that doesn't sound too good for the admin's on this site. However, I'm sure there is another side to this story. It is their board and there isn't much you can do other then go setup a board of your own.

People are People (Insert Depeche Mode song here), so you will get all kinds of responses depending on the time of day and mood. That's just life... I wouldn't ask my boss for a raise right after making a big mistake, so your timing and your attitude probably had a hand in it coupled with the admin's day as well.

I've had good and bad run in's with admins... but i can tell you one thing. The times I was polite and respectful of their authority... I got what I wanted. Not sure what that is worth to people... but it helps me out in my life

Sorry buddy but when someone first greets me with an ego I'm not going to give in to threats. The biggest more retarded part is I didn't make my thread a thread that attacks him personally. I responded to his suggestion and ended it there. He continued to post with comments/threats as though he just wanted an excuse. I personally think the guy is a nut.

Well I went back and looked at the thread you are talking about and I will say this.

It's obvious why the thread was deleted. You asked for help and then attacked everyone that offered up a suggestion to the problem. Remember not every answer you get is going to be gold and the fact is you wouldn't be asking if you knew the answer already.

On another note, if you would like to clean up the original post so it is within the rules then I will move this to Site Suggestions and Feedback. Otherwise I will have to delete it.
