Same as my story, the BR one wasn't out when I got my Magnus intake.... and just so you know, the BR one is less expensive than the Magnus.

Jerstan: Do the MAP conversion, drivability is fine (for a loud 340whp car). I have almost no mods and netted A LOT more power than anyone else with the same mods and the MAP conversion. Just make sure whoever is tuning your car knows what they are doing.

The Buschur pipe will fit a long K&N filter - about twice as big as the filter you have pictured)

Direct from Magnus it is $700 for the EVO intake manifold. Take a look:

Keith

PS: The magnus intake for a DSM is only $600 but is $700 for the same part on the EVO.....

The Flange where it mounts to the head is different between the EVO and the DSM. On the DSM the injectors go into holes that are in the head itself, but on the EVO they are mounted to the intake manifold. I am not sure if the bolt patern is the same or not.

Not to mention the manifolds orientation is reversed.. the throttle body on the Evo is to the right, on the DSM its to the left.. In either case.. aftermarket intakes are a decent bang for the buck mod when you've got this much more air mass pumping into the engine, last thing you want is a restriction. Its definitely worth the money at this level of modification (and if you can afford it)

We pulled the oil feed off the oil filter housing for two reasons, cleaner oil and more pressure for the larger turbo.

Of course I would rather you have our FMIC kit on the car. I have no idea on the Perrin, it is probably good enough.
