Tranny Warranty Issues, Please read!
Has anyone with a modded Evo ever had their Tranny (5th gear sychro) replaced under warranty? If so can you PM me as soon as possible.
My repairs were denied due to a boost controller, but I have the stock clutch! GO figure! Thanks for any help that you can give me!

Thats just so wrong.......how did they say the boost controler made the syncro go out? Have you talked to the Mitsubishi district rep? If that doesnt work I would talk to a lawyer and have him/her write a letter. (About $150)

My car was in the dealer all last week waiting for that freaking part, I finally got it back and am driving it until they get the part. Because this is a sort of recall situation you should have no probelms getting it fixed under warrenty regardless of your mods. Go to www.mitsubishisucks.com and print out the TSB which clearly says that there is a 5th gear syncro problem.
My mods are:
Greddy profec spec B
Greddy Ti exhaust
Greddy I/C
Forge DV
B&B DP
UR Cat
HKS TT
RMR filter
Cusco induction arm (soon to be sold)
Grounding kit
Dyno flash
SS clutch line
I've had no problems with this issue because I didn't mod the drivetrain (I do have a cusco clutch and a bunch of other stuff at home waiting to be install though).
