Ceramic coated exhaust
I ported, polished, and ceramic coated the factory exhaust manifold and O2 housing (turbo dump). Let me know what you think. (56K be patient)

I am curious, what was the clearance between your downpipe and oil pan at it's narrowest point ( estimate OK ) ? And how many millimeters thick do you think the wrap was after being applied ?
TIA

I just don't know how well painting the manifold would hold up. I think it would eventually flake off and rust. I am hoping that the ceramic will last for many years.
The thermowrap is approximately 1/32" thick but is overlapped so I guess it is 1/16". It clears the oil pan by about 3/8 of an inch at the closest part.

I used a straight die grinder and an angle die grinder and several long bits. I also used my Dremel tool with the flex-shaft to reach those difficult areas. I was able to reach everywhere inside the manifold.
You can get 2000 degree paint but not clear coat, at least not that I have seen.
The anti-lag bosses are those two cylindrical bosses between runners 1&2 and 3&4. In some countries those two areas are drilled and tapped into the exhaust ports and has some kind of air injection to keep the turbo spooled up all of the time (at least that is what I think they are for).

This is what a gtfour looks like with antilag all wired up.
Description of how it works on a gtfour (probably the same way mitsu does) is at http://gtfour.supras.org.nz/homologation.htm
