im not sure if this is normal???

i´m not able to see this in those photos but it seems that some pulley material has been removed. When small abrasive particles are trapped between the pulley and the belt they wear out the pulley making some noise.
Sometimes and because of the heat generated during belt spinning small pulley´s parts started to be removed, im not telling you that this is the same case but i used to see this in rebuilt pulleys (specially with metal spray procedures).
Just try to get it to the dealer and keep and eye open to see what really happened.

I'm bringing this thread back from the dead to say thanks to those that posted it originally. My car goes in to the dealer on Monday. Here's a pic of what my pulley looks like now:
And here's my thread about my problem:

You didn't use belt conditioner on that did you?
I had an old capri once and the belt slipped so i put some on. Unfortanately some of the spray must have gotten into the A/C drive cause it sweaked like mad. It took a few weeks but eventually the sticky particles from the can got out of the a/c clutch. That crap is like glue...
