Knock limit?

Knock limit?

just wondering what a safe knock max is on the Apexi SAFC II's knock monitor??

that knock monitor blows don't ever trust it. and there is no safe knock limit.

Unless I hooked mine up wrong, it has never shown one knock. That's probably a good thing if it works at all but I still wouldn't trust it.

If it is hooked up right and set it will always read some amount of knock. You have to set the threshold rates duing the setup so it reads correctly. It will show you when your knock goes above normal and it does read off of the cars stock sensor. The stock sensor works very well becuase it will retard timing in a hurry if you get enough knock that is unsafe. Every car will be alittle differet depending on temp , fuel and many other varibles so you can't judge from one car to another. If you get a datalogger you will be able to see when it pulls timing so you can then measure it from there. Hope it helps!
