MIVEC on a Evo (has anyone tried)

we all know Mitsu now got there own version of vtec called "MIVEC." well does anyone know if anybody has tried to put these heads on the Evo engines. if vtec heads can give a non-vtec engine power...couldnt MIVEC give the 4g63 some boost

Clearly cam gears give some gains so variable valve timing probably would too. In the case of cam gears some have questioned the cost benefit of the time spent to get the little bit of extra power. A potential problem I see with such a swap is that you wouldn't have anything to control the valve timing advance with. Also, I think you could run into issues with the cam sensor. It's probably a different configuration.

With enough time and money anything is possible. This sounds like a factory effort.

A couple of years ago I saw a picture from the HKS booth at some show and they had a variable valve/timing set-up strapped to a 4G63.
