606 Whp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [MERGED]
I wanted to be the first to post this.....my friend Chris is currently up in Chicago at AMS picking up his EVO. He had a ton of work done to it up there and they just finished running it on an AWD Dyno which resulted in putting out 606WHP. That was on a pump gas/race gas mix, probably around 100 octane.
He will have the car back here in Cincinnati tomorrow afternoon and will be bringing it to the cruise in up at D&B in Tri County tomorrow night. I do not remember all the work that was done and feel that he should be the one to tell everyone, but I just had to at least post his HP numbers. I believe that is now the tops in the country.... Oh and I think spool is around 3500 rpms.... unbelievable....
I am sure that Chris will respond to this or even start his own thread when he gets back tomorrow.... so for now that's all the info....
Congrats Chris!!!!!

600 all wheel horsepower
Congrats to Chris Belshaw (CB on the board) on his car. We made 600 all wheel horsepower today on his EVO8. The car is beautiful and he has made some very tasteful cosmetic mods that really make his car stand out. We had to stop because we starting to max out the stock ignition system and it could have used a change of plugs but we where at the Porsche exchange (porsche dealer with AWD dyno) and plugs where about 1 hour away back at the shop. Chris's car has the same mods that our shop EVO8 does, except we dyno's his car with the Magnus intake and we dyno'd our without. I'm confident that with the ignition fixed we had another 10-20whp lurking there. Also they only had one fan for the front of the car and it wasn't even really blowing on the intercooler, maybe costing only a few HP but hurting us none the less. BTW , we where running 880cc/min injectors and a walbro in-tank pump with stock lines and our fuel rail. Fuel pressure whas rock-steady and stayed constant with boost. Parts are all the same parts you can buy from us off the shelf and there are no secret turbo's or components on his car. I'll let Chris tell more and post his dyno's.

Wow, congrats on the 600WHP, that's wicked! To get to those levels (600WHP) how much does everything cost just in parts? Is it really realible, not saying everyday use, but a lot of street and track use though?

600 HP, shouldn't that equate to a better 1/4 than 10.84?

FULL weight 3500lbs+ with driver. I'm sure they will do better but as far as I know it has only been down the track a few times. Also this is a customer car they are talking about.

I hear ya... don't get em wrong 10.84 is sick fast, faster than I'll ever go for sure. Just thinking that 600 whp even with stock weight should turn better times...
When you think about it 600 whp is probably at least 666 hp with a very conservative 10% drivetrain loss. this equates to 5.26 lbs per HP, this is alot of hp! I think this car on the right day and right driver is a 9.90 car!
