Took my Evo in for an oil change the other day at my mitsu dealer. Got the bill back: $109

good lord....$109 bucks for an oil change!!! Do you guys realize it takes no more than 1/2 hour to do the oil change yourself? I bet you wait at the dealer much longer than 1/2 hour to get your car back and you save lots of $$.

There is currently a large lawsuit against royal purple for there two stroke synthetic oils. They have proven that royal purple two stroke synthetic when under heat for long periods of time breaks down, and produces an acid that eats rod bearings, causing bearing failure. I ran royal purple for years in a built 383 stroker I had, and never had a problem. But knowing what has happened with this lawsuit, i'd be very careful about running there oil, or anyone elses oil for longer than three thousand miles.
