Exedy Twin Clutch Questions.+.AWSOME Website for Parts!

Well this place http://www.hopupracing.com/ has incredible deals on parts for our cars. More noticably the clutch

The Twin and Triple plate kits are made for cars that have some serious HP. The twin plate holds 500-750hp and the Triple holds 750-1200hp. The win plate set up is available with or without sprung discs. The kit includes a lightened flywheel, clutch disc (w/ sprung hub), a pull type pressure plate with 2655 lb. clamp load, throw out bearing and an alignment tool.

What is the difference of with or without the sprung discs? Whats the best setup?

Lancer shop sells the same clutch.. but without a throw out bearing or lightened flywheel with their kit. Will i need anything else if I buy this kit for this shop??

Thanks

Also.. it states 2655 Lb clutch force... Now i thought the stock was like 2200 or 2800.. Does this number seem kind of low? Ive seen single clutches with clamping of 3000... Kinda Confused.. thanks

i have the exedy and i have launched the car more times than i can remember, as many times as 18 consecutive (launch, and then back to staging there was no line or waiting )

and then i drive it everyday in DC traffic..

FYI, the clutch comes with a flywheel, and it is lightweight, so the lancer shop clutch does come with a lightweight flywheel..because its the same clutch you can get here http://store.dynoflash.com, for 1350 shipped.

I'm in the process of breaking in my Exedy Twin Disk. Only 60 miles on the new clutch so far. I'm not sure of the weight of the flywheel but the revs seem to be much more responsive when blipping the throttle and downshifting. Shifting now takes half the effort of stock. The gear shifter moves so easily as I upshift and downshift. My syncros are happy now.

Thanks to Buschur for installing it so quickly!
