Best Intake for the EVO

Currently I have an AEM short ram intake and im thinking of maybe gettin the K&N. Is this ag ood move? I got the AEM ram for free from RRE off one of their EVO's. Also, how would I go about cleaning my intake its FILTHY

seem like everyone who had a short ram is going back to the stock intake.

stick with teh stock airbox....i had the RMR cone filter on and my car lost power..

really? I plan to get my ECU reflashed, does that make it an better to keep my AEM or get the K&N?

if you're talkin about the K&N typhoon i've heard many complaints about it so i wouldnt bother changing...for what its worth the AEM is probably better than the K&N..

I am using the A'PEXi power intake. It probably has one of the better combination of air flow and filtration capability. Sounds good too!

werd, I too am using the Apexi and couldnt be any happier with it. Except putting it on and taking it off sucks. Its also a pretty small filter compared to most.
