i hate my evo....may get m3

.......this is just about at the end of my rope, too much money for this and headaches and time, ill be on my 3rd reflash at $350 a pop!! oh well, i guess the only way to do it is buy everything at once reflash, then never touch the car again...the ride to CONN is like the ride to my work, all too common. oh well....we went to the track tonight, and i never even got of the line, reving to about 6500 sliped the clutch, and it just popped, backfired and crackling and only boosted to about 8-9 and just let off, cruiswed to a 21.45@65.89...i had 3 gallons on 112octane in and reset the battery, but it must be the new pipes and all the air that threw of the dynoflash.....i hope...oh yeah...my brother is trading his in for the MR, anyone wanna buy a sweet evo PM huscroft6, yellow, black wheels, gergeous, see ya gang!

Reflashes are great up to a point. It might be time for a standalone.

You think any of what you wrote my have something to do with your dissatisfaction? If you mod an M3 even close to what you're talking about here, you'll be blowing up engines at $10,000+ a pop. Good luck, man. Maybe back some of your mods back and it'll be better for you.

Dude, it's real simple. Your running a big turbo, get a stand-alone. The AEM EMS with UEGO is the cheapest option, and I made 340whp with Buschur stage 1. So, quit fooling around with a reflash.

so true. just sold my M3 and got an Evo. S52s are not that cheap to mod, and the S54 blows up fine bone stock, so yeah good luck with that.

Even after dropping in my br500 with stages 1 thru 4 and just using an AFC(afc was temporary, went with ems afterwards) my car was running great, a little rich, but it ran fine. Someone isnt tuning that thing right. With the BR500 the ems is the way to go as well. Proper tuning is a must so maybe a retune is needed.

Definetly get the EMS... I have so much done to my EVO and the thing just keeps going and going... The EMS is like the Energizer Bunny... Lose the reflash!!!!!!!!!

Stick with the Evo, you know how much the AA turbo kit costs for an M3?

Not worth it IMO.
