RVM intercooler pipe kit evo8????
Has anyone out there surfed ebay and found the RVM intercooler pipe kit for 299.99? I emailed the guys and they pretty much said that it is identical to the HKS IC pipe kit, and that we pay more for the name of HKS...Has anyone bought this, and what did you think?

OMG!!! It's amazing!! Pictures!!!
Anyway, they look ok installed, I don't like the way the hot-side pipe is sitting, I think the long coupler they use is too long, pushing the pipe out and down too far, but it might be the angle of the picture.
How is the clearance with the HKS intake? You have a very similar setup to me, Type-S and HKS intake and I want to hear your impressions before I purchase.

These pipes are well worth the $$. There were only 3 thing that have to be moddified.
1. The out let from the turbo when it's all bolted up tight hits the wastgate. so you have to pry the wastgate bracket way from it. Be careful not to bend it too much b/c then it'll mess with the wastgate actuation.
2. The hose from the upper I/C pipe to the BOV has to be cut to size. no big deal.
3. I don't think you can use a stock intake setup. The upper pipe hits the gold bracket that the stock air box bolts to. It works great with my HKS intake after I took the bracket out of the way.
Oh yea, there was one last thing. To get the outlet piece to bolted up to the turbo without going crazy, Just take off the bottom crossmember so you have some room to get the bolts tight. Also disconect the battery b/c the one bolt to the turbo outlet is close to the +side of the starter. The ratchet extension goes right by it. Other than that the install was a breeze and I would tell recomend these pipes to anyone.
