91GSX, Thanks man that helps.

Jarrod,

It looks as if the BR upper IC setup will make the rubber hose coming off the inlet pipe to be rotated from its stock position to meet the location of where the upper IC pipe will now fit. It may be a squeeze for the DV to cram in there unless there is still enough room to play. I dont know for sure b/c I really wish I was there or you here to look at it. I would hate to lose my DV but I can use the 1G if I can send the pipe back to you if it doesnt work. Can you work with me on this? I want it to fit and look nice without cramming and twisting, etc etc. Thanks.

OK guys here goes! The K&N intake looks to have the same size inlet into the stock pipe as the OEM mass pipe. As for that fix you will need (should have gotten it with the upper IC pipe) a small piece of tube that will go into that hole, the OEM hose will then slide onto that tube and then go to the BOV.That will let the BOV re-circulate into the intake like it should. RPM-EVO if you did NOT get that pipe give me a call and i will get it out of here today!

Tampa Turbo the forge BOV will be ok also. we are installing a nipple to your upper IC pipe instead of the the 1G BOV flange like normal, so then the BOV will get hooked to the that nipple and you will run a hose down to the small tube into the intake pipe for it to re-circ.

91GSX it was no problem man just tryin to help out a customer. It was nice meeting you. Did you have fun this weekend?

Take care all! I hope this helps you out!

Thanks for the info! I plan on using the 1g DV, I just did not remember seeing a small section of tubing to add to the dump tube. The typhoon pipe is almost identical to the stock rubber one, so if it fits on the stock one it should work. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing anything-then not able to drive anywhere to get it. Thanks everyone!

I'll have to let you know once I get the kit. Unless someone else on here can answer that question.

i know it comes with a tray and tie down , which explains the price .
i think all you need is to remove the bracket that holds the cables allowing more freedom to be move. can anyone confirm this .

Wink

I believe you are right. You just remove the stock battery setup and replace w/ new setup. Thats all. No rocket science.
