so, darkhorse, ive always been unsure as to what your company does. i know you guys do lots if incredible machine work, but do you guys actually sell anything? I think youd have a lot of customers

Ya know, i am not to sure about what I do either sometimes. For the most part, I try to do specialty machine work and engine building, if everything works out well.
I dont sell anything right now, I try to let the work speak for, or sell itself. Its tough enough to do that, so if I were mass producing things, I think it would be difficult to keep the edge.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the difference between a fuel cell and a gas tank? I agree with everyone that the work on this thing was gorgeous! Can something like this be used to extend the range of our evos? (ie this plus the stock tank)

a fuel cell is a gas tank made for racing. it has foam inside to control fuel slosh and often they don't have a sending unit for the fuel gauge.
no, it's not a practical solution to extend the capacity of your stock fuel tank.

fuel cells ..
The fuel cell is a fuel "tank"for racing ..this particular tank has a built in serge tank & foam to control fuel slosh during hard acceration/cornering .. and yes you can get it with a sending unit installed ! ...and yes you could use it to increase your fuel capacity .. (though the plumbing would be a little tricky)

no, that would be your imagination.
if your fuel pump sucks air, the engine will bog wickedly and almost die. it's not "pep" vs. "no-pep", it's running properly vs. being fuel starved. and it only occurs under HARD cornering when low on fuel.
