Look in the How2 forums, there are a bunch of articles there. Alternatively, do a search and you will turn up a number of articles.

May I suggest that you put a manual boost controller in instead. Reason being, I have seen may evo's with blown engines because of these electronic boost controllers going bad without even a sign. When they do, they tend to overboost and by the time you've noticed, you've blown your engine.

Aside from the lack of space, the install is pretty easy. Just connect a hose from the pressure source on the turbo to the port marked NO, and connect a hose from the COM port to the wastegate. I found the easiest way to access it was to remove the intake pipe. You will also have to remove the stock hoses going from the Turbo to the wastegate, and then to the solenoid. I left the hose that goes from the solenoid to the intake pipe, and just capped off the other side of the solenoid. Other than that, you just need to get a pressure source for the control unit. I used a hose coming off the intake manifold for that. The wiring is all pretty straight forward aside from getting through the firewall. There is a How To on tuning the Profec that I found very helpful. Hope this helps.

I actually just Installed my Profec b 2. I think I installed right but a couple questions.
1. Is it normal driveing while turbo isnt activated for it to show negitive PSI?
2. Can someone post pictures ( no descriptions please) of the exact location for the solinoid to be hooked up on COM and ON, ( sorry no one is really clear on where it should be )
3. im only hitting about 15psi now.. according to the meter on the profec. and suggestions? I am running 93 Octane.

This is where I mounted my Profec B; right next to the Greddy TT.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=206081

Just click on the bottom two picture links.

The install is not that difficult.

The instructions Greddy provided are pretty good.

Regarding the whole MBC versus EBC debate; they're many stories of both failing at one point or another.

The Profec B has a overboost safety feature that lowers your boost if you reach a maximum boost value you can set.

You can always keep an eye on your boost gauge too.
