Knock reading 160-200 when driving it on a 98 degree weather
Help EVO gurus...
I have the Bucshur Stage 4 setup and Stage 4 SAFC2 settings, is the knock normal at 160 - 200 when its at idle?
My knock reads 160-200 only when its very hot outside, about 98degrees Farenheight.
How should I bring my knock down to the safe side 20-50?
I also noticed when the car is parked in the shade for a long time the knock at idle is at 30-50
But when you drive it normaly for about 20min on a 98degree weather knock goes up to 160-200 at idle?
The other problem I'm having is when you go WOT and the knock is at 160-200 the engine misfires, feels like a fuel cut.
Is there a solution to this problem via tuning it on the SAFC2?
Thanks for helping me out on this....

Wow thats some pretty high knock numbers, you sure its calibrated right. I never went over 20 on the knock monitor(when I was using an afc), but then again you have to remember the AFC2 is not super accurate when it comes to knock readings.

i have buchsur stage one (with safc2) and mine runs high during the day too. im not shocked to see my knock at 80-90. only thing ive heard is that it is super inaccurate like gofaser87 just said.
