Well, you have to understand the nature of our cars. Our AWD drivelines were not designed to withstand redline clutch drops. Those don't yield the fastest 60' times either.
Now, with that being said, the weak link in our driveline seems to be the front differential. It's usually the spider gears that break from hard launches w/ wheel hop. The quaife front LSD will be much stronger than OE diff and also the RS LSD.

and it was my spider gears that broke........so it is my front lsd then thats gone. the service manager told me i would need a whole new transfer case because its not repairable......maybe he doesnt know any better? so i could just buy the quaife front lsd and have them put that in? right now my car is on a lift waiting for me to tell them what i wanna do. i thought the quaife ones arent for sale yet?

Dealerships don't waste time or effort to tear down major assemblies and fix the single part that causes the problem; instead, it's easier for them to replace the whole thing. Their definition of repair is to swap parts until the problem goes away.

the ralliart front diff is a viable option. Also a limited slip and you can get someone like TRE or John Shepard to retrofit it for you on your TC. www.z1auto.com sells these diffs.

Try TRE (www.teamrip.com) ask for Jon and tell him Brian Green sent you. I had my T-case there for a 2 weeks. He said if you send him a good one he can make it not break BUT if you send him a blown one (like I did) most likely its not getting any better.
