Question Limitations of stock turbo?

When building up an EVO, at what point does the stock turbo become a limitation. With more aggressive cams, engine management and all the other bolt-ons available is the stock turbo going to get maxed out too early in the power band?

The Most I have seen on the Dyno with all the mods (Camms, AEM EMS, ect... ) will still keeping the stock turbo, it would flow enough air for around 380-390 rwhp

the stock turbo will max out at 390-400awhp on race gas and AEM EMS with all the supporting mods (cams, injectors, etc......).

you can squeeze some more power out of it with water/alcohol injection, or NOS.

400 hp to the wheels is about right. after that, its time to go bigger. By then, u will be running high 11s and passing everything on the streets. We are fortunate enogh to be given a turbo which can squeeze an extra 150 horses out. the stock injectors are even good for about 80 more and then they are ready too. so do the cams, engine management, all bolt ons, and injectors and u should be there on the sock turbo.

Would a 10.5cm exhaust housing make a difference? 400whp will be more than sufficient for me, but I dont want the turbo to start getting maxed out at redline.

Hmm I would say after BR stage IV (or equivalent) and the BR head along with an AMS.............thats when you have maxed that sucker out................and like those that said above.......your talking around 390whp at that point.
