boost problems help!

I have recently installed my GFB bov and it sounds great with no stalling issues. To begin i have the three factory gauges. My first question is that, is it normal for my boost gauge to sit on 0 when my car is off? because i see pics online and my friend's boostgauges when its off and it sits at 0. For some reason Mine sits at -10 hg. My second question is my boost leaking because at full throttle it only maxes out at 1 bar which is equivalent to only 14.5 psi? Isnt the stock boost suppose to hit 19 psi around 3k rpm? Im thiking that my boost gauge is messed up or my boost is messed up. If anyone knows what my problem is let me know. = x

id start by checking around and see if all your lines are hooked up since you just installed the bov. sounds like a leak somewhere
then try checking with another gauge. if its running a bar on both then you probably have a leak somewhere for sure.

If you guage is sitting at -10hg with the car off, then that is a problem. You will get low readings for everything across the needle sweep. If the factory guage is mechanical, which I'm pretty sure it is, then the gauge is messed up. What the the guage read at idle?

Definately sounds like a gauge issue. The factory boost gauge should sit at 0 when off. Mitsubishi should warranty that.

Sounds like your gauge is off.. or its trapping the signal somewhere (restriction, the sender or the line to it is kinked?)
