CV Boot Replacement

Does anyone have any experience with CV boot replacement on the Evo? I found a small tear in my right, inner CV boot. It's been spitting grease on the alternator and firewall so I need to replace it asap. Just wondering if I should tackle it myself or take it to a shop.

Only 17,000. I don't think it split from normal wear and tear. Most likely, it was damaged during a recent clutch install.

if you have an air compressor, impact wrench and the proper tools it'll be fine..if not, trying to take off the axle nut off is not going to be very fun
