Car make a thunk noise when the clutch engages

Car make a thunk noise when the clutch engages

Hey All,

The saga continues with my car. Everytime I engage the clutch or have a little jerk when driving i.e. shifting gears or low speed manuvers I hear a thunk noise from the front of the car. Eric Lubinsky and I checked all the motor mounts and they seem fine. I'm going to take the car into TT on the 29th because thats their earliest appointment date but its getting worse everyday. Does anyone know what this could be??

Does it seem to be coming from the clutch itself or more like transfer case area?

Yep somthings lose on the bottom. Go back to the dealer and let them check it out.

I'm going back to the dealer tomorrow or wednesday (I gotta take off my test pipe AGAIN!!!) to get it checked out but I just wanted to know what to tell them to look for.

BTW its coming from the Clutch/Transmission/Transfer case area. They are all in about the same spot.
