Thanks to all. I'm gonna take it to the shop that did the install later this week to see if any further adjustments can be made.

I'd love to hear from SuperZ and Adam from Z1Performance on this, since you both have so much clutch experience.

I feel for ya. I have the excedy hyper single, and I have had similiar problems. The clutch seems harder to get into first and revere. I have had my clutch pedal adjusted three times and now that I got the utec, I think it's at the right position. I knew it wasn't correct because when I would try to use launch control, it was "always" engaged even with the clutch out all the way. Anyway, I adjusted the pedal and now it's fine, BUT it doesn't seem to want to go into gear really smooth at the 7k. I goes in w/o any grinding, just seems to take more effort. At lower rpms, it goes in like butter. Also, it makes this squeaky noise like bad brakes rolling out of first gear from a dead stop. Nobody know what this could be from. I'm so fed up with, I'm thinking about just putting in an ACT. ACT has never let me down before.

i just put the cusco twin disk in mine and feels ok! just weird the pedal has like no feel after about half way up! do i have to put the extender rod in and then adjust the pedal??? has any body else had to adjust their pedal with twin disk??

I got mine sorted out shortly after buying it. Works great.
