From where? Are you talking about from Japan? Because it isn't as if you could just send one over. They have to be converted and legalized. Perhaps you mean from Evolution Imports? Even then, it depends on where in the US you live. Either way, if you want an Evo VII then talk to www.evolutionimports.com

Yeah, few people realize that even though JDM cars may be inexpensive in just price, but, that the car does indeed have to pass California emission laws, whether you live there or not, due to the fact that it is probably the only major port you could get it shipped to. Also, the international shipping cost itself... damn. I've heard people complain about the price of an Evolution VII from Evolution Imports, but, I think that the price above the actual car's price is quite nice, seeing as they also serve as a customs broker, which you would also need.

If you look at Motorex's price on the R34 Skyline, EI actually have a pretty good deal going on a new LHD Evo VII. The problem is that not everyone can afford to get it. The cool thing with EI is you can stack on a ton of aftermarket parts and come out with a beast... they have very good prices on most parts if you're buying a car.
