Price
Is Evolution imports going to drop their price of the EVO VII when the EVO VIII comes here for only less than $30,000?
I think they should because it costs too much money for just an EVO. I might as well buy me an audi or somethin

Well, I guess it depends on what we get. If the Evo VIII sucks, and has no AYC or anything, then they probably won't lower their price. However, if the Evo VIII is really awesome, then they just may go out of business.

Naw, like Mark said, they can load up your Evo with some performance mods that will blow away any Mitsubishi dealer's service department. My car was pulling to the right. I brought it in to check out the issue. After three days, no answer, and they left my lugs loose!!! I drive my 4 and 6 year old in this car!!! I'd put my confidence in EI, especially when it comes to tuning a US Evo!

First off, I don't think they would be ABLE to bring the price down to $30,000. This is because the original car already is around that price. Take into account international shipping and the labor to get the damn thing legalized, that would be quite a bit. So no, once the VIII comes, most likely, they will stop importing those EVOs unless, like someone already pointed out, the EVO VIII just doesn't stack up to all the hype.

They'll have to stop importing them sometime next year anyway, because Mitsu is changing the VII's over to VIII's everywhere. Won't be able to find new VII's for much longer.

The VIII will hold up to the hype. A bird told me "IT DOES NOT SUCK" Had to sign confidentiality agreement with MMSA. He drove it in U.S. a month ago and it tested extremely well. Like 996 Porshe well.
