I'm running 10-30 but planning to switch to 5-30 when temps start to drop below 30 deg.

Neither should cause ill-effect unless you're running your car very, very hard in harsh conditions. There's a graph in the manual that states what temp ranges certain oil wieghts are good for. I think 10w30 is rated down to -30F by mitsubishi. You'll want to look it up yourself though.

EDIT: FWIW, I run 10w30 in the summer and 5w30 in the winter.

Is it okay to mix oil?

I have the Mobil 10W-30 in my car, but the oil level is at low. I can't find the 10W-30 at all, only Mobil 1 15W-50 or Mobil 1 10W-40...

So I was wondering if I can run like that... until I get the good oil in a months or two...

I think you're supposed to use 5w30 if you get alot of below freezing tempature like us in MN. It helps warm up your car faster. If you're in a warmer area where you do not see alot of freezing temp you should just use 10w30.

Yes, if they are both fully synthetics. You will sleep easier if you mix the same brand. I wouldn't go ape and mix between large grade difference though.

Mine came with 5W-30. I use it all year. You can use 10W but switch to 5W for the winter. It will help the engine on those cold starts.
