I then told her no, that the vehicle was across the country....she said, "well, we need to look it over because if it has aftermarket wheels on it, the warranty is no longer any good". I was like, so, if it has aftermarket wheels on it, it voids the entire bumper to bumper warranty and the power train warranty as well? She said, yes, aftermarket wheels put a strain on the entire car and therefore will void any warranty existing on the car. she said, this comes strait from mitsubishi, we don't make these decisions. I couldn't believe that. Have any of you gotten any sh*t about having aftermarket wheels?
lol

Yes please tell us how much was given back...Honestly what is everyone worried about on the evo's....clutch and transfercase...other than that not much else is going to be a problem unless you are racing the hell out of it and in that circumstance you would build what every you broke to a higher standard.

Cams, headers, intake, exhuast, hi-flow cats (invoice says they were put in the trunk, lol), pulleys, lightweight flywheel, rally clutch, clutch-type limited slip differential, coil overs with EDFC, swaybars, and lightweight forged allows with competition tires.

No one told me my warranty was voided on anything. When I burned up the aftermarket clutch on the race track, they gave me a new one. I had the 6-speed gearbox replaced twice on warranty. The second time because I chewed up 3rd gear on the racetrack due to the bad clutch.
I think that's because a 350z wasn't made for the same purpose as an EVO.

I used to have a '97 C230 benzo.. i fixed the ish out of that thing.. all looks and electrical, but still. on top of that, it was a lease. they didn't say ish.

hey... did they cut you a check or, if you financed, was it subtracted out of your loan?

welp... guess my warranty will be shot this winter since i'll be going with blizzaks and not with the studded winter version of the stock advans that's not available... oh yeah... and the mud flaps will def void the warranty on the body since the rocks won't be able to sand-blast the bottom of the side-skirts.........
