I just bought my 04 GSR with leather, sunroof, subwoofer & gauge package for 30,150 OTD... but I did a lot of shopping around. I got mine 350 miles away from home just to get a good deal but it was worth it for sure!

No, it's a lousy deal. Huntington Beach CA Mistu had a new silver '04 EVO VIII they were willing to sell me for $29,000, but I bought the RS for $26,100 instead. Maybe they still have the VIII. (714) 375-9493. Tell them Richard (white EVO RS) sent you.

Invoice is not 29, it's 31343 and a good deal is a state of mind. Why should a dealer lose money to sell you a car. I would not sell an Evo ever at invoice or anything close to it because it personally devalues my own Evo to me. It's just rediculous that people nickel and dime a car like that.

I got my '04 RS for $300 over invoice. I think you should be able to get an VIII for $500 over invoice.

You could probly get a better deal on that 04 when the 05's drop at your local dealer.

why you ask because its a year old.... and MSRP is not sticker what a dealer pays.......You can get an 05 for that price..... he would be stupid to get the 04...

I don't care if it's two years old. 31 is still cost regardless. You act like these are regular cars like a chevy or something. Oh 05's are out lets ***** these 04's quick. They still only made 4000 of the GSR and 700 rs's. Mitsubishi releases 05's later than most manufacturers. I'm still at sticker on my 04 with leather all day long. These other dealerships are weak

Try $2000 below invoice .. thats what I was going to get for an '04 VIII Gsr SSL package but then held off and going to wait for a few months for the '05s to drop a bit.

That's absolutely rediculous. What a weak as bunny **** dealer. He would have been better off given you a 1000 on the steet and keeping the car so he could sell it and make money then lose $2000 dollars. They only made 700 or so RS's. I feel sorry for a dealership that builds that little value in it's product. Unless you aren't telling the full story and there was a trade involved that they hit 3 g light then it's another story

He doesn't want the GSR becuase he's just going to buy the 10.5 turbine nozzle and doesn't care about the LSD,ACD. By doing so he will save several thousand dollars that he's going to use for mods!!

So typical of you.

I was telling him now that the 2005 evo is out why not just get the 05 evo with the acd. I thought the acd was available in all trim levels. Why pay for an 04 evo when you can get an 05 right now.

Yeah, man! you are absolutely right. I just went to dealer today to have my car service and saw an '05 MR at 35k, GSR at 31k.
