2004 EVO for $31,000 GOOD DEAL???

My cousin is looking into purchasing a 2004 evo with the sound and leather package, wing, and sunroof for $31,000 (not including tax/fees). This is below invoice if I'm not mistaken and seems like a good deal to me. Im just curious to see if any dealerships in cali could beat this price or if any of you purchased an 04 for cheaper. Also, he's wondering what his insurance would be every month on his parents plan with a perfect record. He's only 19 so I was guessing like $300-400 a month. All your thoughts and advice will be very helpful.

Thanks

I'm 19 on my parents insurance and my insurance is a little bit under 100 a month. My insurance company doesn't look at it haveing a lot of power. just the saftey features. If I'm not mistaken I actually got a better deal becuase of the car haveing the abs w/ braking distribution. hope this helps. good luck. also. that price isn't to bad for the 04 w/ S&S&L... I give 26,900 +ttl for my 03 with the spoiler and sun roof. My window sticker was 30,800.

Seems a little high. No one can quote insurance rates they vary by blocks no lie.

The price depends on where you live. I got mine at msrp and no dealers were willing to sell less then msrp at the time. For example: just cause someone lives in Kansas and they can get one for $27,000 before tax doesn't mean your gonna get one for that price.

oh, i got my 04 for 31otd, no leather tho, but still sounds too high for an 04 when they should be pushing them hard to make room for 05s.

Ill have a silver 04 with 3000 miles in scottsdale here, Mint condition, just broken in.

Still have warranty and no modifications.

Will sell for 30, no taxes no fees. that is a dollar a mile loss on my end, and its only one month old and had a full claybar wax and seal at my local luxury detail shop.
