Another Scamster on this Board!

Guys,

Watch out for this scum, aka, "EVOKING3"! Last month I paid the scum $115 for BOV found in "for sale" classified off this board. He/she confirmed receiving my money via Paypal yet I'm still w/o the BOV, after three weeks!

When inquired via PM, scum claims it's "on the way" or "it'll be there shortly". When asked for tracking number, claims did not get one!

Holy smoke, via paypal I found the name of the recipient's paypal account to be "Amanda Mabalot" - a woman!!!

Ms. Mabalot, if you're looking at this you need to send the agreed product or refund my money with an apology!!!

Money Back Guarantee

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Safeguard your online purchases with PayPal's Money Back Guarantee.

When you make a payment on the PayPal website, you can now buy a Money Back Guarantee to protect your purchase of physical goods on selected transactions. If you purchase the Money Back Guarantee, you will have the option to return your merchandise to PayPal in exchange for a reimbursement (not including the Guarantee fee), provided that you file a complete reimbursement request within 30 days of payment.

This program will only be offered for tangible goods transactions of less than $1,000.00 USD with pre-qualified sellers. PayPal may take additional criteria into account in deciding whether to offer the Money Back Guarantee on a particular transaction.

You will know if a transaction qualifies when you get to the Confirm Payment Details page. If we are offering the Money Back Guarantee, you will see a check box quoting the price of the Guarantee for that transaction. Just click on the box before you send payment. For more complete information about the Money Back Guarantee and its specific exclusions and fees, please go to the Money Back Guarantee Policy of the User Agreement.

Filing a Reimbursement Request

Here.

If you purchased Money Back Guarantee and would like to file a request for reimbursement, just log in to your PayPal account and go to the Security Center link in the footer of any PayPal page, and click on the Reimbursement Request Form link in the 'For Buyers' column.

Additional Information

If you are a seller and you would like to learn more about how the Money Back Guarantee affects you, please refer to our FAQs.

For more general information about PayPal's Money Back Guarantee, including specific terms and exclusions, please go to the Money Back Guarantee section of the Help Center or the Money Back Guarantee Policy of the User Agreement.

coming from first hand experience paypal won't do a damn thing to get your money back... In order to even start it the person has to be paypal verified and approved.. the average joe they don't care about and won't do anything for you. If you paid via credit card, dispute the charges through them otherwise DO NOT use paypal.

I'm sure it's a misunderstanding. You should try to contact the user again and make sure that person understands that a criminal charges will apply if they don't comply to your purchase.

Then small court... you should of gotten some verification from the seller, like address and name and etc.

that's what worries me most of the time buying from a stranger here. No guarantee.

This is why I always use the credit card payment method through paypal. Should anything happen, I'll let my credit card company take care of it.

There is no guarantee on money back from paypal unless u buy the insurance for it. And even with that, you get 500 max, regardless of however much u got scammed. Just call ur credit car company and get ur money back. Do it now!
