hks racing suction kit.....bracket removed?

just wanna know if you guys removed the airbox bracket? I had to remove mine coz it wasnt gonna fit, was hitting the filter. My concern is now theres nothing holding the intercooler piping. Would that be a problem?

Yup, you gotta take it out. I couldn't find sh*t in the directions saying anything about it but it won't fit without removing it. Yes nothing holds the IC piping anymore. I have been running the setup now for 10K miles with NO problems. Don't worry, your on the right path to some sweet sounds and some more oooomph in the gas peddle.

Did you unplug your batters during the install. Its a safety precaution and it blanks the ECU and resets it. Go unplug your battery for 30 min or so. Then drive it. Your MAF will read more air and your ECU will add more fuel. You will be fine!!!! Enjoy and have FUN!!!!!

Spool up noise is just plain sick!!!!!

Yeah, I had to remove that damn bracket aswell, it pushed the filter up to much and it didnt fit right. I've been running this for about 2k-3k miles so far and its all fine. Just make sure to reset the ECU so it learns the different a/f. Enjoy
