Your a moron.

1)Motor Trend June 2003 0-60 4.59.

2)Not that you can't modify it stupid, but that subbie is harder to boost over 14.5 lbs and doesn't respond to mods anywhere near the Evo

3) Were up to 3 STI'S now, 2 stock, 1 with 3 k in mods

I hope you didn't lose all 2 IQ points you had

1. The salesman tells me that STOCK, the Evo hits 60 in 4.5s (I could've sworn everyone else told me 5.0s) and that it's faster than the STi in a straightline.

2. That you can't modify the STi in any way.

3. That he owns an Evo and beat the crap out of two STi's with 3k worth of mods (wtf did he just say a few minutes ago?)

Yeah I was losing I.Q. points talking to the guy.

When Humphrey Bogart was asked how he knew he was worth $1M a film, he said: "Because I can get it."

Checked out the MRs at Costa Mesa, CA. $5000 markup for red and white, and $10000 for the gray.

Freeway Mitsubishi is selling MR with a $5,000 dealer mark-up - I never said that I wouldn't pay it, but they didn't really even try to sell me the car. I am saddened because I worked for a very well known dealer, and they wouldn't put dealer mark-ups on any of the limited production cars that we sold. Plus we at least opened the doors to them to let the customers sit in them. By-the-way I am 34 years old, and was with my wife. The salesman didn't even say hello to her - guess what - she also has a say in where I decide to buy my car - too bad for the salesman...and the dealership...they won't be getting my business.

I was so mad when I left, I went to look at the STI at the Subaru dealer a couple blocks away, and they at least let me sit in the car. I was very tempted. I think the Evo and STI are nice cars, but they aren't Rolls Royces. The dealerships can show serious buyers a little more respect. I have the $ to buy the car, but have yet to find anyone who will treat me the way I want to be treated as a buyer. Anybody live in Southern California (Los Angeles area) that has found a decent dealer? I would not reward anyone who can't even show some common courtesy to my wife.

THousand Oaks and HB Mitsubishi are supposed to be pretty good. I would call them up, and ask to speak with the sales manager. Tell him your little story. I'm sure he'll be interested. Especially after you let him know you were kind enough to tell all of us here at EvoM.
