I am very sad to hear of these comments and can only hope there is some strange misunderstanding going on here ?

Unfortunately, what they say is true. I live near Boost Solutions and know most of the guys that used to work there. I have heard what icantdrift has said from other sources as well.

The way the shop was closed was done very poorly and many of the customers that had cars there were not contacted. Its as if the shop was packed up in the middle of the night so that no one would know what was going on. However, It was only a matter of time.

i ordered Defi BF boost egt, and control unit from them in early july. i specifically asked if they had it in stock and was ready to ship and they said of course. Well, fast forward to mid september and no gauges, called them up and told them to put the money back into my account and they did a couple days later, little did i know i was one of the lucky ones.

easy to say but i was depending on my next paycheck to take care of some expenses. i wasted the past month and a half getting no sleep from working my full time job and working at BS every other sparing hour trying to get some stuff done to make some extra cash, and i now have nothing to show for it but more bills.

The sad reality is that many start up business do experience problems.

Heck look at Delta and Donald Trump's casinos in AC all going chapter 11.

I am sure that George will make good on all his finacial obligations to customers - he is a decent person

WTF???????????? You vouch for a guy because you met him in his shop and he drove to a shootout. Kind of a non sequitor don't you think.

And you're sure he'll make good on his obligations.......and is a decent person? Remember OJ?

If you said this to the Donald in the board room he's say YOU'RE FIRED!

Your flaming has no purpose. Al has right to voice his opinion and so do you. Please keep the flaming out of this thread.

I know George and what people think of him effects him but that doesn't me people got screwed by his negligence. If George just sold car parts over internet he would still be in Business with most of the website stuff being done by him. To be honest I hope he does find some type of personnel happiness because I know George and he is hurting. If George is willing to admit he screwed up and say he is sorry I would help him out since there is good person their that just took on to much. Forgiveness is something we all must do since if we never forgive than we are no better than person that hurt us.

you dont have to be ASE certified to be a good mechanic

What i do know is how hard you work as a vendor. The car field is a very difficult way to earn a living. People who are in it work very long hours. I've been following George for over a year now. I saw George at his shop after it first opened. I saw his red evo when it was almost stock with only a pipe dream and some parts laying about. Then I saw him driving all the way to NJ to run his car in the shoot out and also saw the way he conducted himself. When he came toi NJ he showed up with a few customer cars which were very nicely done. He is a guy who loves evos and shares the same passion for them as myself.I also got calls from him when I came to Atlanta inviting me out for dinner. George is a car guy and I respect his work.

If he really did fail with Boost Solutions its a sad day for me. If he made mistakes along the way - I hope he has learned some lessons and that he will take care of all his customers that may be left holding the bag now.

We all mnake mistakes - its how you learn from them and what you do afterwards that makes the man

Just trying to follow the train of thought, that's all. Al's statement didn't make much sense to me. It just looked like Al was making some assumptions based on silly facts.

That said, I can see he's in a bit of shock. Sorry for pissing in your wheaties Al. I guess I came across a little harsh. Yes, It is a shame when one of these guys go out of business.

Woof!
