My Dirty EVO In Front Of The World's Largest Porsche Dealership =)

I own both. Not true.
On the other hand a lightly modified Evo (e.g. FQ-300) is clearly quicker than the 996.

Stock EVO will walk a 911 N/A NO PROBLEM!!
The same day I dynoed a stock evo I am doing some work on and it made 205 WHP
Given the weight advantage the Porsche has I would say the Porsche has that race won...
Although a few hours and a few grand the Evo will be saying bye bye to the stutgart stormer....my 2c

And its not a small difference either, giving the Porsche a great advantage.
It is amazing how far Porsche goes to save weight such as a composite clutch pedal, magnesium hand brake assembly, behind the dash is TIG'ed aluminum, a aluminum jack, etc.

An EVO weighs in around 3200lbs and that Porsche weighs in around 2910 I think he said. But the EVO is a 4dr AWD sedan! And the EVO has a heck of a lot longer wheelbase, which basically means that it's a lot larger car.
Plus the EVO costs about 1/4th of what the 996 does, so it's really rediculous to compare them.
Porsche makes one hell of a fast car, I mostly posted that pic because I thought it was funny for my car to be out front of all those snooty Porsche dudes inside.

I was their customer until I sold my Cayenne Turbo...
