Actually it is the 997 that you are talking about...awesome car especially the Carrera S.

I remember going to my local Porsche dealership looking at the Mercedes SLK roadster. They had a nice shiney black 996 on the floor, with tan leather wrapped dash and seats, NAV, aluminum knobs and handles everywhere. Man that car was *hot*. I got to sit in it and the carpet is so plush. Nicer than anything in any home I have been in. I would take a 996 over an EVO any day. That and an 05 Mercedes CL65 AMG.

They say the 996 Turbo has the torque band and throttle response of a big block V8. Must be nice to able to drive one of those daily...

What's a "dirty Evo?" The car appears physically clean to me.

Well, I hadn't washed it in a long time, plus it rained the night before, so it was pretty dirty considering it's a new car. And all those nice new shinny Porsches made it look even more dirty.

I had it fully detailed this past Friday though!

I was hoping it was nuclear powered. You know, like a dirty bomb. A 4g63 nuclear reactor conversion would be my first mod.
