Removing the IC spray bottle

Does anyone know if it is OK to remove the IC spray bottle from an 03 Evo. I know that the latest Evo does not have one and I wanted to install an APS cold air intake and I don't want to pay $180 for their replacement bottle. Thanks.

take it out. From what I heard it doesn't do that much good for your IC anyway.

The RS, MR and the New 05' evo don't come with it.

Every '03 and '04 (rs included) includes the intercool watersprayer tank. It was removed on all '05s.

You now have it always on auto and it takes the fluid from your windshiled resevoir in the back on all 05's... or so I am told. Correct me if I am wrong.

I have the APS intake system on my car. I had the intercooler water tank out for about 5 months before I put the APS tank on. I had pushed the button many times by accident. When I finally put on the APS tank everything worked fine, nothing burned out, no ill effects. Could have left it off no problem. The APS intake is great by the way, nothing better than a real cold air intake

I'm sure it'll be best to pull the fuse for the IC sprayer. I think it maybe in your engine compartment fuse box. (check your owners manual) You should take the fuse off so you don't burn the motor out for the IC sprayer. You may wanna save that for later, unless you just take the whole thing out.

I got the same word form the dealer. I didn't believe it at first, but I haven't had a chance to confirm or deny it.

Instead of pulling switches and going crazy, why not just pull the plug from the switch under the console? You can pull the switch up and unplug without removing the console.
