Just received this Official Email from Mitsubishi
It's coming to America: the Lancer Evolution, Mitsubishi's turbocharged, all-wheel drive sedan that's virtually a World Rally Championship race car in street clothes.
In anticipation, we've just launched Stage II of the new Lancer Evolution Web site.
Stage II includes new images of the Lancer Evolution and new downloads of wallpaper and videos!

Seeing that the US Evo is rumored to be called simply the Lancer Evolution, is the reason why I'm puzzled by their statement. But I do understand stage II has new picture of the Lancer Evolution, Evolution VII.... Boy oh boy could
be more boring???

If they are smart they would release stage 3 tommarrow since it's probably going to be a huge web browseing. I'm just glad to hear that "it's evolved not tamed" 
. Now i just hope they don't let us down.
