You could make 3 times that money in 6 month period and then you could do some serious modding on your car.

yeah ok.
1) you're taking a risk
2) the reasoning is infinitely regressive. If you really could make 3 times that money, then after you make it, you could make time times THAT amount, and so on and so forth. When would you stop? Of course, in reality, we all know that it wont multiply like that
3) junk bonds? ummm, NO. you get the lowest debt priority . . . things are looking better . . . be careful.

Last summer, I was at a trackday with a major chapter of the BMW CCA. There were 2 totally tricked out Evos (300+whp, coilovers, etc). These cars were set up by a well known tuning shop. These guys were slow. I ran circles around them in my totally stock Evo.

If I were you I would really take this advice seriously... I wished someone told me that when I started moding my Evo..
No bull****ting
I burned 3 twin plate clutch's 2 Exedy and 1 OS.. and I'm using OS again ..
Changed the gear syncros a million times..
Changed the rubber every other track day.
And my car is not that heavey modified now after 3 years of ownership.. ( By the way I got an Evo 7, 2001 ) Engine is almost stock except for a Motec M48 ECU , Greedy catback with a test pipe , boost controller and Apexi pro adjestable suspension.. And I can pass any pourche, ferrari or a Nissan skyline on the corners. because simply I learned how to control my car over the years.. It's not easy.. But if you have someone to show you the basics you can get their much faster..
