You didn't specify. you asked, "what coupe would you also like to have in your garage or driveway?"

The truth is, there is no currently sold stock coupe in the U.S. that is comparable to the Evo. Please list the criteria you want us to use to compare a coupe to the Evo. There are a whole slew of characteristics that could be considered.

Sorry, didn't mean to get that specific. If you look at the choices on the poll, you can probably recognize a pattern...

How about 'sporty'; that good enough?

Honestly, out of the listed coupes, I'd take the G35. But to tell you the truth, I think one of the only other cars that compares (sorry, it's not a coupe) is the Volvo S60R. (Seriously, Volvo, I know)

It's 300hp, uses an advanced Haldex AWD, it has a similar stance to the Evo. But of course, that's not what you asked.

I'm just a former Volvo owner, who thinks that Volvos don't get enough credit.

But I'd take the G35 for sure, I almost bought one. The '05 Coupe MT6s have somethin' like 290hp. But really, why have a G35x Sedan, and still insist on the RWD Coupe. That's. Just. Stupid.

I said the Lotus Elise even though it is a bit pricey for how impractical it is. I think that the handling is similar to Evo in a way and also power is pretty good in it considering how light it is.

The Volvo, yeah, comparable from a Sedan perspective. Also coming new is the Mazda MP6.

I like the Elise on paper - but can't stand the looks of it, and can't justify $40k for it.

I've owned a Mustang, and couldn't stand they way they handled. I'm sure they're better, but I'm not a fan of the new style. To me it looks like the added in those fog lights into the grill as an afterthought and it's not very stock looking to me. I also added it to the list, but usually the handling of the Mustang is too bad... Power wise, you'd have to compare the GT or the SVT Cobra which is sitting out a year or 2.

I would more than likely get the G35 coupe because it and the Z are just beautiful to me. but i think it would be sweet if the G had TT and AWD. Don't know if that will ever happen but i love to have it if it did

Although I like the looks of the G35 and 350Z, the last time I drove the G35 (at a comparison test drive) it felt Heavy. Not agile like the Evo. Admitted this is subjective but I think the Elise is more like the Evo in character than the G35.

I don't think the '05 Mustang is even close to compareable. My good friend is in the market for a GT, and one of the main differences this year is that they redid the rear end so it's solid now, like the 5.0s. Not that the Mustang was some handling wonder-machine before, but it's certainly not now, and for anyone who wants a car that's going to be perdictable and do the same thing time and time again with minimal varience (EVO, STi) they're not going to find that in the Mustang. Straight line speed, yes. Good looks, yes. Handling, no probably not.

all GTs had a solid axle rear end... it's the cobras that have the independent

i'd like to have a 98 white Supra turbo with black interior or 04 white cobra with black interior ....
