no launch rev limiter on 05 RS
Finally got enough miles on my 05 RS today, and just for grins brought it to a stop and tried cracking the throttle to see how the launch rev limiter worked, and to my surprise there is none. :>) I thought all 05's were supposed to get the rev limiter. Mine goes right to 7000 at a dead stop with clutch depressed, and the car in first gear. And before anyone says that it is an 04, it's not. It has the acd switch, and the aluminum roof. Any one else out there know about this.

I actually love the RS. I wish it came with the MR setup with bilisteins, BBS, Black wing, and abs.

So far I really like the car, too new to really get on it though. Only got 400 miles on it. Right now I no plans to autocross the car. I really like the fact that it is built with only one thing in mind. (with the exception of the a/c of course, and I would have deleted that if I could have.) I just think the RS will do well holding its value, and is a blast to drive.
