There isn't that much of a difference between the MR and the GSR to change cars.
I personally would be disappointed if I had to pay more money for a car that has slight changes I could never even tap into since I don't push my car that hard. For that monetary increase, the evo needs to have way more power or a different engine to justify changing cars. I will reserve this for the next iteration of EVO (assuming I am still into these cars).

Go for the MR, you won't regret it! That's why i traded my '03. The only thing that's good with my trade is no balance on my '03.

Cant tell you much yet as I will still be in break in period for a while.....but all hell will break loose after that.

No, no estoy en Cali.... I live in Atlanta, GA. The dealer sold me the car for $13K and my EVO 8 with 27K+ miles. I'm happy with the MR because I was sick of my modified EVO. Busted Solutions screwed it up and there was no way to get it back to it's original condition. My car was faster and quicker than the MR, but it definitely suffered as the result of the mods. I'm quite happy with the new car. I now have a 100K mile warranty and an engine that's new and fine. I'll take it to the dyno Saturday and get a base line. I might add a few, very simple mods, but I'm not doing what I did the last time.

For the $14K difference, I bought a used SVT Focus with the Euro Appearance Package (15 spoke gunmetals and leather recaros) that had only 13K miles on it. $14K is a lot of money.

It basically what will satisfy you don't listen to anyone else. I just sold an MR today the guy traded in his 03 for it. It took him a week to decide. He just called me up again thanking me for the upgrade. And he was upside down. His payment went up $150.

Unfortunatly I hate to say it but the MR is how the Evo should Really be.

Plus in the long run it's going to hold it's value more. Something like the 3000 GT VR4 spyder.

That car looks sweet.

And how the dealers say get the MR and the 03/04 owners say keep the evo. An MR shouldn't cost $150 more a month unless the financing is way worse, the term is shorter, or the buyer is way, way underwater on the trade. in any event, in addition to thinking about car payments, think about having to make another two years of car payments, and if it's still worth it, then do it.
