There should be a choice on this poll of "I know what they both are, and I don't want either". That's what I'd choose.
For everyone that thinks LDJ spec EVOs all have ACD and AYC, they don't, only the JDM GSR. You can get an 8 with a 5 or 6 speed, ACD and AYC are optional equipment. And from everyhting I've read, the 5-Speed non-ACD non-AYC equipped cars have the more stout drivetrains. Maybe THATS why we got that option in the US. They know Americans are hard on their cars, and that 9/10 EVO owners here will want to drag race their cars as well. Just a thought... Bottom line is, I'm happy with my 8 just the way she is.

Steve, just a minor correction there. All non-usdm CT9A cars have the Active centre diff as standard equipment. The AYC is optional on the RS, but standard on the GSR/RS2. The US model is the only one with a VCU unit.
