as far as I know the hydra element for the evo 8 has only been available for a month or so. I am still waiting for a tuned version to be developed for my evo. For someone like MJ who will tune his own (and if he can get to the front of the line) it should be available.
So far they have been developing the suby version, but I am told work is being done to get a tuned evo version out soon.

I don't know if it is available elsewhere.

Definitely has a bunch of "Desirable" features that i've seen in the Autronic, and the AEM EMS, plus a few features I haven't seen yet in any EVO targeted EMS..

I'm really tempted to run this in my Evo for some time to learn how to use it and get it set up for my project car.

Hi There

I'm using the hydra nemesis on my evo8. So far so good. I'm not a tuner so I had to get someone to tune it for me. If you're intrested, give andrew a call. This ecu has more exposure in the wrx market.

I just got an e-mail reply about it yesterday, I was told they are still "mapping" it and shelved it until they can finish the WRX/STI version.. I'm not sure if that was the manufacturer's comment or this particular distributor of the product... Who did you get yours from? Since i plan on mapping it and programming it myself, I don't really care about a base map other than it starts the engine..
