I got my 04 gsr for $24,299 with SSL package and only 3 miles on the clock out the door, it's !!!ing great but then my wife woke me up!!!!! I agree with ray3328 but i assure you i'm not hating. I'm for anyone who gets an excellent deal possible but the MR's are very limited and the dealers aren't letting them go even at MSRP specially that they just came out. The dealer i bought my gsr from have an MR with a $1999 dealer mark-up and to justify the mark-up they added some BS dealer option e.g. protectant (interior, exterior) and that is nothing compare to the other dealership which is marking them up for at least $5000. $30000 is insane, that's !!!ing way under invoice! Letting them go for that price so they can get more business or good turnover? Just how many more MR's this dealership think they can get? MR's aren't regular Lancers which pretty much grow on trees. Anyways, JUMP on that deal before it disappear. Your one lucky fella!!

That's what I'm saying. If people can get great deals more power to them. They should post the bill of sale so everyone can see. And if they don't want to post the bill of sale don't start a useless thread.

 

 

Well...here is the latest....

I just came back from the dealership and guess what...they acted like they did not remember quoting me $30,000 for the MR!!!! Now they are asking $34, 250? I feel I have been duped! I have taken the next step by emailing all the dealers in my area (7 so far) to have them bid for my business. I will keep all of you informed as to my progress.

I hate dishonest dealers...the're a total waste of time!

 

That's what I thought, giving a MR for $30K is 2 good 2 be true. And watch out for other dealers too they might acting like the dealer you went previously.

FYI, invoice is only ~1500 less (if I remember correctly) than MSRP on the MR, I know as I bought my MR from a family friend and saw the invoice. I don't quite understand why the dealer would give it to you for less than this, it's not like they can't sell it for MSRP. But if by some chance it's possible, go for it for sure. Just make sure it's not an RS w/ an MR badge. :>

 

Actually Invoice is a little over $32K according to Edmunds.com
