Question First Mod for my EVO?

Hi People,

Just got a new EVO a short while ago. Was wondering what is the no. 1 mod I should consider?

I put a short list together was wondering if you can shed some light:

1. Springs
2. Exhaust
3. Intake
4. Turbo Timer
5. Tint. (I know, not quite a mod...)

Exhaust. I'd say that would be the most noticable.

Boost, EGT, wideband, and TT. Proper gauges are a must for any tuning application. Without proper gauges and safety equiptment. The turbo timer is also very nice and convenient. But before you do anything else, get the gauges, know where you stand before you try to improve on it. Just my .02

water temp? you already have that stock.

EGT Gauge (mechanical) and AEM EMS is what I want next.

then manifold, then intake... ground kit should be in there somewhere.

Screw all that, save up for AEM EMS and a AMS turbo kit.

Thumbs up

Will Down pipe alone enough to produce results?

Sorry, new to the Turbo scene.

depends on the result you want. Just get the full turbo back exhaust - the 02 housing.

But if you can't afford it or don't wanna fork over $1000+, then just get the downpipe and test pipe (to get rid of your cat.) and you'll feel the difference.

The stock downpipe is horrible with bends like you wouldn't believe.
